We are working in partnership with a highly prestigious and recognisable organisation with a large property and infrastructure portfolio. We are looking for an experienced finance manager with a strong bias towards FP&A and business partnering, as well as relevant experience within property development and/or facilities management, to be the subject matter expert within the central finance team. You will be the technical lead for a large portfolio of property Infrastructure working to provide insightful performance analysis, reporting and advice.
Duties include:
- Provide add decision support advice, analyses and reports, services to a broad stakeholder group
- Facilitate feasibility studies and other advice in relation to strategic decisions
- Preparation and review business cases, capital expenditure proposals
- Provide analysis, recommendations and implementation to improve financial viability
- Review and streamline business processes
- Provide advice on interpreting, applying and implementing accounting policy
- Continuous improvement of the financial and management reporting within the function
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with the approved business cases
- Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant subject (accounting, finance, business or commerce)
- Membership of CPA Australia or the Institute of Chartered Accountants ANZ (or equivalent)
You will have a proven and demonstrable track record in:
- Previous work experience in a relevant sector: infrastructure, property, facilities management or construction (essential)
- Partnering with senior stakeholders, both internal and external to deliver objectives
- Extensive experience in financial management and reporting
- Experience in business process improvement gained in a large and complex organisation
- Extensive demonstrated experience in analysing and interpreting financial data and building business cases
- Experience in developing, tracking and reporting financial and non- financial KPIs
- Knowledge of and experience in using large ERP, Reporting Systems and Business Intelligence tool.
