The opportunity:
Our client is experiencing a period of exciting change and development within the Finance team and is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to provide support and advice to a range of business unit leaders to drive finance decision-making. We are looking for a consultative and strategic finance professional to work within the central finance to provide support stakeholders in a key division of the organisation.
As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will provide high-level strategic and insightful commercial advice to a diversified stakeholder base. You will support your stakeholders with decision-making, performance analysis and management reporting. You will also mentor the team to build capability in your junior Finance Managers.
The key responsibilities:
  • provide value add decision support, advice, analysis, reports, services and solutions
  • act as the technical lead within the central finance team
  • prepare annual budgets and forecasts
  • provide the key interface for all accounting and reporting issues
  • mentor, coach and supervise a team of managers and junior managers
The ideal profile
  • CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  • extensive background in financial management, budgeting, analysis, reporting
  • experience in a large, complex and diverse organisation
  • leadership of a high-performing finance team
  • highly developed business partnering skills
  • knowledge of and experience in using large enterprise-wide financial packages
