Our client is a market leading property & alternates investment group that has been going from strength to strength. With $10 Billion FUM they are going through a period of exciting growth. Due to a maternity leave, they are currently looking for a FP&A Manager for a 12 month FTC.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for delivery of timely and accurate reporting and analytics for a diverse portfolio of Real Assets & Alternative investments. You will partner to the funds teams and have a key role in the development of best practice analytics and reporting supporting key decision making, strategy and risk. You will manage of a team of inhouse analysts. Commercial, and problem-solving capabilities allow this role to impact investment decisions and value creation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 4 analysts responsible for delivery of reporting and analytics
- Budgeting, forecasting and asset valuations
- Review and improve underlying Fund and asset models, cash flow forecasts and management reporting
- Provision of insightful analysis and decision support
- Real estate and market analysis, material IC requests, asset management initiatives, acquisition and disposal programs, real estate performance, and research
- First point of call for Investor queries
- Research new and emerging markets, compile data and undertake financial analysis to contribute to forward looking decision making and new business opportunities
- Ad-hoc duties as requested
- CA / CPA / CFA qualified with a background in a large Chartered and / corporate environment.
- Experience within investment management highly desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical applications, with previous experience with Anaplan and Tableau favourable
- Financial analysis, development feasibility and/or valuation experience required
- Experience providing commercial advice to senior stakeholders
