Project Manager | Merger & Acquisitions | CBD Location
As a Project Manager dedicated to one of the workstreams, you'll be responsible for the planning, coordination, analysis / design and implementation of the business initiatives within the broader Integration program.
We are looking for a Project Manager with demonstrated expertise and knowledge of the planning and delivery phase of Merger and Acquisitions (M&A) and or large-scale business and technology transformation programs. You'll bring with you a strong delivery track record, as you will take full accountability for one of the work-streams to ensure the end-to-end integration from the selling vendor to the business and technology environment.
What you'll achieve:
- You'll identify and engage key stakeholders
- You'll plan, estimate and manage business analysis and design deliverables
- You'll facilitate and co-ordinate the estimation of effort, duration and time working with the Technology Delivery Manager and Solution Designer to consolidate into a single project plan
- You'll reporting status, milestones and dependencies to the Integration Management Office (IMO)
- You'll provide regular updates to the Business Workstream Owner (General Manager level)
- You'll manage scope and enforce a change request process for the work stream to report against agreed scope, time, quality
- You'll co-ordinate and conduct business requirements workshops with stakeholders (both TAL and the vendor), translating to functional requirements for the development teams
- You'll be responsible to lead and manage business analyst(s) to create and maintain the Business Requirements, Functional Requirements and business process flows / definition
- You'll work with the Solution Designer to ensure the functional specifications meet business requirements
- You'll be responsible for traceability from business requirements through to implementation
- You'll support the Business Workstream Owner in the articulation of the business case and benefits including project financial and non-financial benefits
What we're looking for:
- You come with a minimum of 7 years practical experience working as a project manager and/or lead role managing complex business analysis and functional designs with a total budget (business and technology) in the range of $5m - $10m
- You have a proven track record of delivery
- You're experienced in leading business analysts and functional test analysts in complex technology projects
- You're experienced in balancing business and IT requirements in shared business-IT projects
- You're experienced in building sustainable collaborative and respectful relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues across business and technology
- Ideally, you have experience working on large integration programs in the Life Insurance or Financial Services industry and working with vendors and external business partners
- Ideally you have an understanding of business capability models
