The Role
This role plays a core part in delivering to the overarching product strategy and works across the full product lifecycle. You will:
- Manage product management disciplines and projects.
- Work with cross-functional teams to manage products and services that meet customer needs and business goals.
- Ensure products operate effectively and continue to grow profitably while ensuring all risks are well managed.
- Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning through to ongoing product governance and management.
- Work with key stakeholders on the design and development of new products.
- Production and maintenance of all offer documents and ongoing disclosure obligations.
- Keep abreast of regulatory and industry requirements, ensuring all processes and products remain compliant and up-to-date.
- Contribute to research into new products and investment management capabilities.
- Conduct competitor analysis, monitoring product pricing to ensure they remain competitive.
- Keep abreast of key market issues and trends to help anticipate market needs and meet demands with new product initiatives.
- Manage the product development process, creating detailed business cases to present to the senior management team as well as draft board papers for presentation to the Board.
- Act as the key contact point/subject matter expert for all product information.
- Ensure ongoing disclosure obligations are met.
- Act subject matter expert in ASX Aqua Operating Rules to ensure all requirements under are met.
- Take responsibility for ensuring compliance with ASX Operating Rules reporting obligations.
With a collaborative and consultative approach, coupled with a strong understanding of the asset management industry, you bring:
- An understanding of operational end-to-end processes in asset management.
- Deep knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment.
- An understanding of the key issues driving profitability of products.
- An understanding of investment strategies, investment security types and how these are used in portfolio management.
- Knowledge of product entities and product documentation.
- A track record in project management.
- The ability to identify and research options, evaluate implications and make recommendations to address challenges.
