Job Description

Our client is seeking a Precinct Property Manager for Sydney. This position reports to the General Manager, Property and is relied upon to effectively manage the current and future Foreshore Property Precincts.

In this unique role you as the incumbent will:

  • Provide support to the General Manager, Property in Property Development and Implementation of agreed property outcomes aligned to the companies objectives;
  • Effective management of the companies Property Precincts;
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams, including internal resources and external contractors, in the delivery of strategic outcomes for the future development and use of the Precincts;
  • Ensure property portfolio within Precincts is optimised and managed in line with Government and Corporate strategies;
  • Prepare reports for the Senior Executive, Board and Portfolio Minister on Precinct issues and strategies;
  • Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders including community, government agencies and tenants to identify and manage expectations consistent with the strategic outcomes of Government and the business;
  • Prepare, Review and Monitor Property Budgets and Financial Reports;
  • Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and internal policies;

To be considered for this tremendous position you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Property Management, Commerce, Law, Surveying, Economics or similar;
  • Extensive experience in managing a government property portfolio involving a variety of stakeholders;
  • Extensive experience in Precinct Planning and management of Foreshore Precincts;
  • Experience in managing Precincts holistically including stakeholder relations, property and asset management functions and ability to instruct legal advisers;
  • Proven High Level Negotiation and Communication Skills;
  • Experience in managing multiple, interrelated complex strategic property issues to achieve integrated organisational outcomes;
  • Demonstrated capacity to think strategically;
  • Extensive experience in managing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Manage and administer compliance of existing and future commercial leases and licences;
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the allocation of land spatially
