Job Description

Are you an Office Manager looking for your next role? Have extensive experience working with accountancy firms and want to continue to add value to the industry? 

Based in the Lower North Shore we have an excellent permanent opportunity to join a small accountancy practise as an Office Manager. A varied and busy position you would be keeping the office ticking along, providing admin support to the team as well as accounting specific duties. This could include:
  • General office management such as answering the phone, team support and setting up meeting rooms
  • Attending to work/information requests from the team and clients
  • Monitor Trust Account and process refunds
  • Use corporate compliance software to process ASIC annual reviews, monitor and follow up on outstanding ASIC debts and unsigned documents, and prepare documents for company detail changes
  • Manage and process client GST registrations
  • Attend to all incoming correspondence (mainly ATO and ASIC)
  • Collate financial statements and tax returns for signing
  • Manage our internal filing system and offsite archiving
  • Assist with marketing activities (social media posts; formatting of newsletters)
As there is a heavy requirement for accounting specific duties we are only looking for individuals who have worked within an accountancy practise previously. This is to ensure a smooth transition into the position whilst they are very busy.
