Talentweb are seeking a HR Business partner with IR/ER experience to join our client who are a leader in the disabilities space. Reporting into the GM of people & operations this role will provide critical HR advice, coaching and operational guidance to support our manufacturing business in the achievement of their people and site objectives.

The focus of the role will be around talent management, capability building, leadership development and leading cultural change in collaboration with managers and the site leadership team.

Your responsibilities will be broad and will also include:

  • Providing HR generalist support to the business including but not limited to performance management, capability building, talent management and policy & employment legislation guidance.
  • Taking a lead role in managing IR/ER matters including supporting the HR Business Partner with preparation for EBA negotiations.
  • Developing and coaching stakeholders to impart your knowledge of best practice HR methodology and processes.
  • Experience and knowledge of WHS & employee returning to work policies
  • Utilising regional/global frameworks and programs to have maximum impact locally.
  • Responsibility for assessing HR compliance processes to ensure that they meet local and global quality and governance requirements.



This position calls for demonstrated leadership abilities and influencing skills as this role involves a wide range of internal and external stakeholder management in a complex matrix environment.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Significant experience and expertise in an HR generalist role with a solid working knowledge of IR/ER legislation and processes.

  • Excellent people skills and high levels of empathy and patience
  • A natural ability to build strong professional relationships while under pressure
