Job Description

I've been urgently asked on behalf of a large Australian Wealth Manager to hire a new Change Manager to support their key strategic and corporate initiatives for FY20

They're looking for someone to assist them in facilitating and driving change/end user adoption of new programs / project systems or processes across the entire organisation through communication, training and business engagement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Create a structured change management implementation strategy so that there is consistency in adopting change affected by the project
  • Identify the most expected and potential points of resistance to change and develop counter strategies to reduce the resistance and address the doubts and uncertainty surrounding the change to foster a positive acceptance of change
  • Create specific change management plans with respect to training and orientation of employees. Training will lead to the path of least resistance to change and maximum utilisation of the new initiatives for the organisation
  • Establish parameters to measure the early adoption, effective utilisation and proficiency to new change initiatives for individual employees as well as groups or departments
  • Identify deviations in performance from the change standards and implement strategies for corrective action to achieve full organisational adoption to change
  • Continue to maintain close engagement with specialists from People & Culture, Learning and Development and Communications to ensure a smooth transition to change and organisation wide successful implementation of change initiatives
  • Identify, develop and maintain frameworks / tools appropriate to supporting and enabling the successful deployment of the change management strategy by the project.

What you'll need to have:

  • Working knowledge of Change frameworks
  • Specific Merger/Acquisition Wealth experience
  • Implementation experience
  • High level verbal and written communication and negotiation skills at all levels including executives
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, ability to build trust and sound judgement
  • Outstanding analytical, observation and organisational skills
  • Facilitation skills
