Business Process Analyst

The role:
As the Business Process Analyst you will be working in a newly formed team. You will be responsible for mapping our client’s end-to-end business processes across systems. You will be creating and maintaining a suite of process and procedural documentation for both users and support staff. Identifying and assessing potential changes and improvements to their systems and processes.
  • Detailed process mapping across all business support systems.
  • Impact assessment on Change Requests.
  • Proactively identify process improvements.
  • Develop standardised processes and procedures documentation for business systems in consultation with SME’s.
  • Engage with internal customers and stakeholders to clarify, refine, and present opportunities for process improvements.
  • Testing of new processes and system functionality.
  • Handling large amounts of process engineering.
  • Documenting of business rules and requirements. 
  • Business Process Mapping.
  • Understanding of/ or experience with Project Management Methodologies (PMBOK or Prince).
  • Financial process knowledge (Advantageous).
Essential Requirements:
  • 3+ years Business Analysis/Process Improvement experience.
  • Experience working in and Agile Project environment.
  • MS Visio or similar product.
  • Previous experience in Technology One and/or Compass (Highly regarded).
  • Experience in operational business process improvement activities.
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders with user friendly terminology.
  • Ability to balance both business and technical requirements.
  • Be self-motivated and committed to delivering quality outcomes.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a changing environment.
  • Strong analytical capability.
