“Our Brand & Content Manager will work with our chosen agency and additional content writers (either internal or freelance) and will really direct the tone of voice which will represent us in the marketplace”
 
Summary:

Initially (first 6 months) the Brand & Content Manager will spend their time working across:
  1. Diving into all operational elements
  2. Content Writing and proofing 30%
  3. Managing onshore and offshore resources and ensuring they are on-brand and using the correct tone of voice 30%
  4. Developing the brand and setting the structure 30%
6 months and on
  1. Content Writing and proofing 20%
  2. Managing the team 20%
  3. Strategic, forward-thinking 60%
Description: 
  • Direct and manage creative resources, internal and external, to define and echo out tone of voice
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across design and marketing teams to carry out scalable processes to enhance or establish the brand identity across all customer touchpoints
  • Assist in the day-to-day production flow and tasks for content creation including creative ideation, briefing, researching, writing, proofing and content handover
  • Work with the marketing team to produce content and design materials that are engaging and useful for a variety of target audiences across all touchpoints: website, social channels, research reports, videos.
  • Research emerging trends and make recommendations on relevant creative for buyers
  • Content creation, edit, load, and administer approved content across digital platforms and implement content design best practice
 
 Experience:   
  • Prior leadership experience as a brand strategist (in-house or at a leading agency) experience in content writing, design and/or communications roles
  • Solid writing and copy-editing skills with extremely high levels of attention to detail
  • Proven B2B Content writing experience
  • A team-oriented leader with the proven ability to mentor creative talent in others
  • High level of creative concepting, development, and design skills
  • Superior level of communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • A self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment with the ability to explain how you contribute to change
  • The ability to use data, performance metrics, and customer insights and data to inform strategic recommendations.
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • Knowledge of retail and wholesale (ideally)
