Our client

Our client is a large ASX listed group that has experienced strong growth in recent years. With a dynamic and respected leadership team, the group has an ambitious growth plan that will see it further cement its position and expand its Australian presence. Due to this growth plan they have the need for an Analyst – Planning & Reporting to support a key divisional team to join on a contract basis for 9 months with the potential to extend or become a permanent resource. 

Key responsibilities include:
  • Ensure monthly reports, board reports and annual accounts are accurate and prepared in a timely fashion 
  • Support the annual divisional business plan process which includes managing group and divisional deadlines, presentation material, scenario and sensitivity analysis
  • Support the monthly cash flow modelling & reporting function including actual/forecast against budget analysis, scenario and sensitivity analysis and process improvement
  • Perform gross margin analysis, linking analysis to underlying operational business drivers for any relevant changes
  • Monthly and quarterly activity bank reporting and investor reporting
  • Partner the Finance and Business Leadership teams to ensure strategic plans are achieved and exceeded
  • Preparation and review of business cases
  • On-going ad hoc projects
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant subject (accounting, finance, business or commerce)
  • Membership of CPA/CA or equivalent 
Required Experience
You will have a proven and demonstrable track record in:
  • Budgeting, forecasting and reporting with a large organisation or a proven track record from Big 4 Audit or TS 
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver objectives
  • Experience in developing, tracking and reporting financial and non- financial information
  • Advanced Excel skills
