The Client
This established law firm is one of the leading employment practice firms in Australia. With a huge current workload they are looking for a new addition to their corporate team.
The Role
The role will be within a small finance team and report to the FC. All aspects of accounting are performed. This team has a very flat structure and a requirement of any employee is that they come with knowledge, experience and flexibility to respond to the needs of the business. They need to be a very strong problem solver as well
A key requirement is to be an accomplished accounts all rounder. This includes but not limited to :
- Assist in Financial Accounting
- WIP management
- Monthly reporting and close.
- Reconciliations
- AR / AP
- Payroll
- Expense management
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a confident all round accountant. They will come with similar experience of working in a small team with a "can do" attitude and versatile skill set. You will thrive in being part of a team and interacting with senior partners. Previous experience working in a law firm and/or similar environment with WIP management is essential.
As an important member of the finance team communication skills are imperative - both written and verbal. This role would be best suited to an accountant looking for a professional and consistent work environment.
